The Public Association Kazakhstan Marketing Association (KAM) helps marketing professionals use the synergy of the community to grow professionally.
The Association brings together people who:
• study marketing – schoolchildren, students, entrepreneurs,
• teach marketing – teachers and trainers,
• marketing practitioners – specialists working in marketing in different positions and with different experiences to contribute to the development of marketing culture in Kazakhstani business.
Our Story
The idea of creating an association for marketers originated in 2000. Kuanysh Tazabekov, the first vice-rector of Turan University, realized that knowledge of marketing principles, methods, and tools brings strong growth to our economy. Then, he concluded that the university was capable of making a powerful contribution to the country’s development and initiated the creation of a public association. Thus, on September 29, 2000, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan registered the Kazakhstan Marketing Association under number 4653-1900-00.
Our Strength in Unity
The power of any organization lies in its members. The initial participants included exceptional individuals from the education and business sectors: Kapenova Saulesh Abdrazakhovna, Abishev Ali Azhimovich, Kerman Igor Petrovich, Mukhamedzhanova Larisa Izimovna, Esimzhanova Saira Rafikovna, Kireeva Elena Yurievna, Satybaldy Seitzhan Satybaldinovich, Uspanova Mayra Ualievna.

Collaboration and Empowerment
In December 2017, the Kazakhstan Marketing Association began cooperating with the Marketing Club, organized by Aneliya Mukhamedkarimova. This partnership expanded the opportunities for participants in traditional Marketing Meetups by providing spacious and equipped classrooms at Turan University.
Our Logo
On January 5, 2018, designer Aigerim Nusipkozhanova created a new logo for the Association. This logo reflected the symbolism of Kazakhstan, the sun as a source of energy, and man as an integral part of the community. This new sign has become a bright symbol of KAM, uniting us in our desire to develop the marketing industry in Kazakhstan.
